Rice Krispie Pumpkins

These were SO much fun to do!  When I saw these I knew it was something my girls and nephew could do!  I have the recipe memorized from cooking with the kiddos at school so much so all I needed to do was add some food coloring.  I made mine with a 2 year old and a 3 year old.  So obviously they turned out a bit different than the original; but we had fun and that was all that matters.  It was also good for Adam to watch because I had him take pictures the whole time and he said he couldn't believe how calm I was when they would do things that little kids would do.  I've seen it all with cooking and kids!!  Here are some pics of ours and the original.

Rice Krispie Treats

melt 1 1/2 tbsp of butter, then add two cups of marshmellows on medium low heat.  After those have melted turn the stove off, add three cups of rice krispies and mix together thoroughly.  Place in a pan and let set while you clean up.  Enjoy your treats!
