Sooooooo on the last full day that we were there Adam and I decided to go out without the girls. Their grandparents 'took one for the team' ;-) and babysat for us! I was so stinkin' excited because do you know where our first stop was??? The Scrapbook Warehouse :-) Oh yeah! So I went in there and Adam said he was just going to go down to Vanity Fair and look around. So I bought 6 transparencies pages, 2 packages of fall cut out pages, 2 containers of ribbon, and 3 containers of felt/foam objects (to be put together for flowers or the like). I paid $38. For those of you that don't scrapbook that is a VERY good deal! Everything in the store is priced at about 40% or so down from what you would pay in your regular store. Then automatically everything is 50% off of that. So it says $8.99 you will be charged $4.50 for it :-) I was thrilled....so then I called Adam and said I was finished and what do I hear but 'They have khakis for $9 here...' so I met him in the store and we got Adam about 5 pairs of khakis, some shorts, and underwear all for $50. I wish I could get that many pants for $50!!
We stopped by the Titanic Museum (a must!). I won't go into detail because it's something that you should definitely try if you ever have the chance! Then we went to the wonderful, beautiful, Christmas Place. We got SO much stuff there! That is actually not an outlet....it's a store (a rather massive one at that) that sells Christmas things all the time. I got my annual ornament and got Reagan's as well. The big thing I got this time was the Shepard and animals set for my Willow Creek Nativity Set :-) It was at this point that we met up with Adam's sister and her husband! So we shopped there for a bit, and then Adam and I had decided that we wanted to try The Old Mill....we had never eaten there but heard great things about it so we went and his sis and bro in law decided to join us. WOW is all I can say about the food. It was great! Definitely a place that I want to return to :-) There were all kinds of neat little shops associated with it and you could go down to the bottom of the hill by the water and take pictures. So everyone else shopped and looked around---I took pictures! We made one last stop to Carter's where I got the girls some stuff for the spring and we went back to the cabin.

Part 2 of this day will be tomorrow because what do you think we did that night? What every good 'camper' does.....made s'mores!!!
You hit up all my favorites. Well, except Titanic which I have not been to yet. So it's pretty cool?
ReplyDeleteIt's insane how cheap you can get stuff in the scrapbook outlet. I got an entire Disney Princess scrapbook set for SH for $8.
