Another year has begun...

Well I wanted to give a brief update on things down here.  School started up a week and a half ago and although it is the beginning of the year I think it's going to be an amazing year!  I haven't had a year like this in a while.  My soul 'needs' a year like this.

Again, it's only been a week but during a time where it's very easy to take your work home with you I've been very good about keeping it at school.  The girls are doing wonderfully with their babysitter and our evenings are spent playing together before bedtime.

I feel like God is leading us somewhere this year.  Don't really know where or what's going to happen but I feel like change is coming.  We are being very prayerful and keeping open minds about everything at this point.

I am also very thankful that the area I have been praying about and 'working on' for the past year or so is finally becoming fruitful.  That is seeing things and people for who/what they are.  Being observant about situations and the like.  So far, the hide button on facebook is my best friend.  Yeah I still stalk check out pages sometimes but what I see doesn't bother me and to be honest it just makes me roll my eyes.  It's amazing how insecure others are, and therefore treat others horrid to make themselves feel better.  Since this process (which took full effect in Feb) I feel I am a much 'happier' person, my family is getting a better me.  I am a better person. 

This weekend begins the time of travel for us.  Alabama this upcoming weekend, East TN, Knoxville (Lauren's wedding-YAY), Virginia, East TN, and the mountains; and that's all before October!  We won't be traveling anywhere then but hopefully heading back up to Oktoberfest and finding an awesome pumpkin patch down here.

So that's that.  I'm busy looking at photo challenges for myself, when I find more I'll let you know :-)
