Lists. I *heart* lists. That's all there is too it. There's not greater feeling of accomplishment than checking off something that was on your list! So here is another little thing to help you along with your couponing/shopping journey.
Organized Home is a wonderful website that is full of organizational ideas for your home and notebook if you have one. These are some printables that I use:
- For planning out menus I use this printable. I use it in my notebook to plan out for the month. Then I take what I've planned and every Sunday I will copy it onto my weekly chart that's on the fridge. The fridge one is where I'll write down extras like 'snacks for small group' or 'zoo' or to remind Adam 'Betsy and girls in East TN' :-) I know it may sound like a lot of writing out but it's really not.
- Then I will use this printable for my shopping list. Again, this is the one that's in my notebook. As the month goes on I will write down what we need for the month, and as coupons come along I'll note it and write the number of how many next to it.
- This one is new to me...after my last trip to the store, I got everything we needed and we had room for it all, but I quickly realized that I had gotten some items that we didn't need (and didn't need to stock way up on) so I found this printable and I laminated it. That way I can take a dry erase marker and write down what we've got (like chicken and the number of chickens) and alter as we go through the month. That way I don't have to empty out the freezer just to see what we have and don't have.
- This is one that I am going to print out and try out. I don't need it near as much as the freezer one because I can see everything easily in our pantry--the one upstairs and in our garage. But I went ahead and attached the printable just in case you wanted it :-)
